Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z TriFold, its first multifolding phone-tablet hybrid. With a two-hinge design, the device unfolds into a 10-inch display while remaining just 3.9mm thin at its thinnest point. It features reinforced display tech, a smoother dual-rail hinge, a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 200MP main camera and Samsung’s largest foldable battery at 5,600mAh.
The TriFold supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging, runs One UI 8, and offers unique software features like an auto-folding alert, three-app multi-window layout, and standalone Samsung DeX with multi-workstation support.
Launching first in Korea on December 12, 2025, the 16GB/512GB model costs 3,594,000 KRW (about $2,443). A US release is expected in Q1 2026 at roughly $2,500.
