Apple may soon add Intel as a manufacturing partner for its chips, according to multiple analysts. Reports suggest Intel could begin producing Apple’s base M-series chips for Macs and iPads in 2027, potentially starting with the M7. A follow-up note adds that Intel may also manufacture non-Pro iPhone chips from 2028, while Apple continues to design the chips in-house and relies on TSMC for higher-end processors.
