Samsung has quietly confirmed that its basic Galaxy AI features will remain free indefinitely. Updated footnotes on Samsung’s Galaxy AI page now state that core AI tools bundled with Galaxy devices won’t require payment, ending earlier language that only guaranteed free access through 2025.
While Samsung leaves room to charge for future “enhanced” or third-party AI features, most existing Galaxy AI functions – such as Call Assist, Photo Assist, Note Assist and Interpreter – will stay free, giving users long-term certainty about the features already included with their devices.
