Apple has begun issuing payouts from its Siri privacy class action settlement. Eligible users who experienced unintended Siri activations on Apple devices purchased between 2014 and 2024 are now receiving payments. While the settlement initially suggested up to $20 per device, final payouts are about $8 per device, with a maximum of roughly $40. Apple denies wrongdoing but has since strengthened Siri privacy controls.
