Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series has appeared in a new Wireless Power Consortium listing, revealing support for the Qi 2.2.1 standard with up to 20W or faster wireless charging, aligning with rumors of 25W support on the S26 Ultra.
However, the phones are limited to the Base Power Profile, meaning they won’t have built-in magnets for Qi2 accessories. Magnetic charging will only work with compatible cases, which is a disappointment as magnet-based wireless charging is becoming standard in premium phones.
