Nothing has been teasing the Nothing Phone 4a series with unusual marketing hints, and has now confirmed its launch event for March 5, 2026, just one day after Apple’s March event.
CEO Carl Pei promoted the launch by digitally “spray-painting” Apple’s event invite with “Nothing” and the date, continuing the company’s playful guerrilla marketing style.
The Phone 4a lineup is rumored to start at about $475, with the Pro version around $540, while Apple is expected to unveil a roughly $599 iPhone 17e. Although they target different audiences, Nothing is clearly leveraging Apple’s spotlight.
Leaks suggest upgrades such as improved cameras, a new Glyph lighting system, Snapdragon 7s chips, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, plus a slightly larger battery. The Pro model may also add IP65 protection and eSIM support. More details will be confirmed at launch.
