With the Samsung Galaxy S26 about to hit stores, early rumors suggest next year’s Galaxy S27 Ultra could bring a bigger camera leap.
Leaker Digital Chat Station claims Samsung is developing a new 200MP ISOCELL HPA sensor with a larger 1/1.12″ size and LOFIC technology for improved dynamic range and better highlight and low-light performance. Fellow tipster Ice Universe says Samsung may instead use a modified HP6 version with a 1/1.3″ sensor but similar performance gains.
While nothing is confirmed, the rumor hints at a more meaningful hardware upgrade than the mostly software-focused camera improvements seen on recent Galaxy Ultra models.
