The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is now available worldwide, marking the end of its pre-order period after last month’s Galaxy Unpacked launch.
Samsung says early demand was strong, with pre-orders reaching record levels and rising by double digits compared to previous Galaxy launches. The clear favorite was the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which accounted for more than 70% of global pre-orders.
This is a significant jump from last year, when the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra represented about 52% of early sales. The remaining roughly 30% of pre-orders went to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus and the standard S26 models.
One reason for the Ultra’s popularity may be its stronger hardware. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, while some markets receive the Samsung Exynos 2600 in the S26 and S26 Plus. The Ultra is also the only model with Samsung’s new Privacy Display, designed to limit screen visibility for nearby people.
With pre-orders now finished, the full lineup is widely available in colors like Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue, plus online exclusives such as Pink Gold and Silver Shadow. Samsung has also launched the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, available in White and Black, with the Pro model also offered in a Pink Gold online-exclusive version.
