Google has introduced Game Trials for Google Play Games, allowing users to try full versions of paid games for free before buying them. If players decide to purchase the game, their progress will carry over.
Some titles will also support “buy once, play anywhere”, giving access to both mobile and PC versions. The feature is already rolling out to games like Reigns, OTTTD and Dungeon Crawler.
Google is also adding Community Posts for sharing tips, introducing an AI-powered Sidekick overlay with in-game guidance, and expanding its catalog with upcoming indie titles such as Moonlight Peaks, Sledding Game and Low-Budget Repairs.
