His private phone number has been widely shared, leading to a flood of calls from journalists, business leaders and other contacts trying to reach him directly. While the White House says this reflects Trump’s openness and accessibility, some officials are concerned about security risks, particularly during the ongoing US–Israel–Iran conflict.
Despite these concerns, Trump reportedly prefers direct phone conversations and continues using his personal device, leaving officials worried about the lack of the specialized security typically used for presidential communications.
