Samsung makes heavy investments to take a lead in AI race

Samsung Electronics plans to invest about $73 billion in R&D and facilities to strengthen its position in AI-driven semiconductors – over 20% more than last year. The company is also exploring major acquisitions in areas like robotics, medical tech and automotive electronics, while expanding partnerships such as its AI chip deal with AMD.
