Apple has settled a lawsuit with a former engineer accused of stealing confidential data before joining Snap.
Apple claimed the employee downloaded thousands of sensitive documents to a personal account shortly before leaving in 2024, while secretly preparing to join Snap. The case has now been dismissed after a settlement, which includes returning the data and paying damages.
The former employee also issued a public apology, admitting wrongdoing and expressing regret.
