Meta is reportedly preparing new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses designed specifically for people who need prescription lenses.
According to Bloomberg, two new models with different frame styles are in the works and will be sold through traditional eyewear channels. FCC filings suggest an early launch and hint at upgrades like Wi-Fi 6 support, potentially enabling faster data features such as livestreaming.
The move aligns with CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s vision that AI-powered glasses could become the norm in the coming years.
