Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series outsold the S25 by 29%

Samsung is seeing strong early success with its Galaxy S26 lineup, despite ongoing issues with RAM and storage supply affecting the smartphone industry in 2026.

According to Counterpoint Research, the Galaxy S26 series sold 29% more units in its first three weeks compared to its predecessor, with 71% of buyers choosing the premium Ultra model. Attractive carrier deals and growing interest in high-end devices helped drive demand.

Together with new releases from Apple and Google, Samsung’s strong sales contributed to a 5% overall market growth compared to 2025, signaling a positive boost for the smartphone industry despite supply challenges.
