A bizarre new leak suggests Google’s unreleased Pixel Watch 5 may have been discovered at the bottom of the ocean. Gearbox co-founder Randy Pitchford claimed a friend found the smartwatch while scuba diving near St. Martin and it reportedly still worked.
Photos show “Google” and “Pixel Watch 5” branding, along with sensors for heart rate, SpO2, skin temperature, EDA and UWB support. Even stranger, the owner was allegedly identified online and the watch is being returned. While prototype testing is common, finding a seemingly production-ready Pixel Watch 5 on the ocean floor is easily one of the strangest tech leaks ever.
