Apple introduced a major AI upgrade for Siri at WWDC 2026, bringing features similar to Google Gemini. The new Siri can hold conversational interactions, understand on-screen content, access information from the web and a user’s Apple account and generate text based on personal context from emails, messages and photos.
Apple also announced a dedicated Siri app that saves conversations and new customization options for Siri’s voice, allowing users to adjust speaking style and expressiveness. The AI-powered Siri will enter beta later this year and will be available on iPhone 16 models and the iPhone 15 Pro series.
