OPPO is also scaling back realme brand

A new Bloomberg report claims OPPO is planning major changes to its smartphone business. Alongside rumors that OnePlus could scale back operations in the US and Europe, the report says realme may exit the Chinese market as part of a broader restructuring.

While realme’s future outside China remains unclear, OPPO is reportedly focusing the brand on Nordic countries, where it has performed well. Bloomberg also claims OnePlus could gradually withdraw from most international markets by 2027, remaining active only in China.

The reported moves are said to be driven by financial pressures, slowing growth and geopolitical challenges. However, OPPO, OnePlus and realme have not officially confirmed these claims.
