LG plans to unveil a humanoid robot in the first quarter of 2027 as part of an expanded partnership with Nvidia. The bipedal robot will use Nvidia’s Jetson Thor computing platform and Isaac GR00T humanoid AI model.
LG will also deploy its CLOiD wheeled robot at a washing machine factory in Tennessee later this year, using the facility to improve its capabilities before expanding to other factories and potentially homes.
The companies are also working on AI data centers, with LG planning an 80MW AI Factory in South Korea by 2028. In addition, LG plans to develop AI-powered autonomous driving and in-cabin systems based on Nvidia technology for global automakers.
