A US federal judge has rejected OpenAI’s request to obtain the confidential settlement agreement between Elon Musk’s X and xAI and Apple in their ongoing antitrust case.
Judge Mark Pittman reviewed the agreement privately and concluded that it does not contain information relevant to the remaining case against OpenAI. X and xAI had agreed with Apple to drop their claims against the company, while the lawsuit continues to focus on OpenAI.
OpenAI is now preparing a motion for summary judgment, asking the court to resolve the case or some claims without a trial.
