Samsung Health will start to monitor sleep apnea

The Galaxy Unpacked event is imminent, and details about the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra have emerged. Samsung, having obtained FDA clearance for sleep apnea detection, is set to introduce this feature. A Reddit user in the One UI 6 Watch beta program shared screenshots of the feature, which requires wearing the watch for two nights to monitor blood oxygen levels during sleep. The feature is compatible with Galaxy Watch 4 and newer models running Wear OS 5.0 and Android 9. It’s expected to launch with the Galaxy Watch 7 on July 10. Samsung is offering a $50 credit for pre-ordering new devices, with today being the last day to reserve it.
