Google Wallet now lets users add passports from Brazil, Singapore and Taiwan as a digital ID.
To set it up, users take a photo of the passport’s info page, scan the embedded NFC chip and record a short selfie video for identity verification. The process ensures the passport is authentic and linked to the owner.
Only one ID pass can be added per Google Account and it can be removed at any time via the app or account settings.
