Samsung has officially launched the One UI 9 beta program based on Android 17 for the Galaxy S26 series, just days after beginning the rollout of stable One UI 8.5. The beta will be available this week in South Korea, Germany, India, Poland, the U.K. and the U.S.
One UI 9 is expected to introduce a cleaner design, more AI-powered features, updated Samsung Notes tools, Creative Studio contact cards, customizable mouse speed settings and improved Quick Settings controls.
Samsung may fully unveil One UI 9 during its July Galaxy Unpacked event, where the company is also expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8 and a new Wide Fold model. Users can register for the beta through the Samsung Members app.
