Microsoft is reportedly testing several upgrades to make Android phone integration feel more native in Windows. Planned improvements include a smarter Phone Companion in the Start menu with quick access to recent phone activity, a new Taskbar phone icon for controlling features like Do Not Disturb and Find My Phone and easier file transfers via drag-and-drop.
The company is also said to be working on full clipboard history syncing between Android devices and PCs, as well as a standalone Messages app separate from Phone Link. These features are currently in internal testing and have not been officially announced.
