Samsung may delay the launch of the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 due to development and cost challenges linked to its new hinge design, according to a Korean leaker. The redesigned hinge is expected to make the device thinner and lighter than the current TriFold.
At the same time, Samsung’s long-rumored slidable smartphone could arrive earlier than expected. Recent reports suggest the company is making progress on rollable display technology and may prioritize the slidable device over its next TriFold model. Samsung has not officially confirmed either product.
