Samsung has revealed Flex Titanium, a new display technology that will power its upcoming foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8, ahead of their official launch on July 22.
The technology combines an ultra-thin titanium-alloy film beneath the OLED display with a flexible titanium support plate. Samsung says this design helps reduce the visibility of the screen crease, improves durability and maintains a slim profile without compromising flexibility.
According to the company, Flex Titanium delivers a stronger, longer-lasting foldable display while offering a more seamless viewing experience. Samsung is expected to showcase the new technology in detail during next week’s Galaxy Unpacked event.
