A video discovered in the macOS Tahoe 26.7 Release Candidate appears to show Apple’s rumored camera-equipped AirPods using Visual Intelligence.
The demo shows a user asking Siri to remember a book he is looking at, suggesting the earbuds could use cameras to recognize and save information from the user’s surroundings. The earbuds look similar to the current AirPods Pro, but appear to have slightly thicker stems.
Apple is reportedly developing the camera-equipped AirPods under the B790 codename, with a launch potentially coming as early as next month at the iPhone event. A separate model, codenamed B798, is reportedly planned for 2027.
