Meta has unveiled two new smart glasses at Meta Connect 2026: the Meta VR Glasses, designed for immersive virtual and mixed-reality experiences, and the camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio.
The Meta VR Glasses use a two-part design, with the 100-gram glasses connected to a separate computing puck. They feature 5K micro-OLED displays, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, eye- and hand-tracking controls, Meta AI, 3D movies, Xbox Cloud Gaming and Hologram Calling. Battery life is up to three hours, and the glasses will launch in spring 2027 starting at $1,299.
The Ray-Ban Meta Audio are Meta’s first camera-free, audio-only smart glasses. They weigh 43 grams and offer up to 12 hours of battery life, or up to 48 hours with the charging case. Available in 23 color and lens combinations, they start at $349 and will go on sale October 13.
