WhatsApp is rolling out four new features to make group chats easier to manage. A new “Mentions and replies” filter highlights unread conversations where users have been mentioned or received a direct reply.
Users can now pin group messages indefinitely, share recent chat history with members who have already joined and post group-specific status updates that disappear after 24 hours. The features are being gradually rolled out to users worldwide.
