Google’s trio of theft protection features—Theft Detection Lock, Offline Device Lock and Remote Lock—are now expanding beyond Brazil. Availability varies by device and region. Some users see all three features, while others have only a subset.
Theft Detection Lock uses sensors to detect when a phone is stolen and locks it automatically. Offline Device Lock secures the phone if taken offline too long and Remote Lock lets users lock their phone remotely via the Android website.
