Casio has unveiled the CRW-001-1JR, a functional digital ring watch marking the 50th anniversary of its digital watch business. Launching in Japan this December for around $128, it features a retro six-segment LCD display for time, date and stopwatch functions, along with three buttons for control. The ring includes a light, a flashing alarm and a replaceable battery lasting about two years. Made with metal injection molding, it comes in a fixed US size 10.5, with spacers for smaller fingers. Unlike last year’s decorative models, this ring watch is fully functional—perhaps hinting at a future calculator ring for Casio’s 75th anniversary.
