Nothing is seeking to raise over $100 million in fresh funding

Nothing, a London-based tech startup renowned for its transparent smartphone designs, is gearing up for a major U.S. expansion in 2026, according to Bloomberg. Launched in 2021 and backed by Google Ventures and iPod creator Tony Fadell, the company aims to raise over $100 million to support growth. In 2024, Nothing doubled its revenue to over $500 million and surpassed $1 billion in lifetime sales, with India as its largest market.

Currently, Nothing’s presence in the U.S. smartphone market is limited, with its flagship Phone 2 available for open sale, while the budget-friendly A-series models are restricted to a developer program. The 2026 expansion plans may include carrier partnerships and wider availability of its entire product lineup. The company is also exploring new product categories, promising innovative designs that blend creativity and functionality.
