Spotify is testing a new feature called Taste Profile that lets users directly influence their music recommendations. The beta tool allows listeners to tell Spotify what they like, dislike or want more of, helping shape the content shown on the app’s homepage.
The feature analyzes listening habits across music, podcasts and audiobooks, while users can adjust recommendations if the system gets their taste wrong. Taste Profile will first be tested with Premium users in New Zealand before a wider rollout.
