TikTok is rolling out an ad-free subscription tier

TikTok is launching a paid ad-free subscription in the UK for users aged 18 and older. Priced at £3.99 per month, the new tier will remove ads and stop user data from being used for advertising purposes.

The move follows similar ad-free subscription options from Facebook and Instagram, introduced in response to UK GDPR privacy regulations.
