Honor’s upcoming Robot Phone is moving closer to reality, with the company confirming a launch window in Q3 2026 (between July and September), instead of the previously stated “end of 2026” timeframe.
The device was also showcased at Cannes Film Festival, where attendees were able to get hands-on experience for the first time, after earlier appearances at CES and MWC kept it behind glass or out of reach.
Honor also confirmed a partnership with ARRI to enhance the phone’s imaging capabilities. The Robot Phone will feature a built-in gimbal for stabilized motion shots, while ARRI’s professional cinema technology will be integrated into the camera system. The device is expected to include a 200MP camera.
