Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place in Hawaii from September 22–24, where the company is expected to unveil its next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chips.
The new processors are rumored to be Qualcomm’s first 2nm smartphone chips and are expected to power many flagship Android devices in 2027. Beyond performance improvements, one of the biggest questions surrounding the new lineup is pricing, as rising component costs could make future smartphones more expensive. Additional details are likely to emerge through leaks and announcements ahead of the event.
