A major leak has revealed nearly all key details of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra ahead of their expected July 22 launch.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch cover display, 7.6-inch main screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, up to 16GB RAM, a 4,800mAh battery and an ultra-thin 4.5mm design. The Fold 8 Ultra could offer larger 6.5-inch and 8-inch displays, a 200MP main camera, a 5,000mAh battery and an even thinner 4.1mm profile.
Both models are expected to use Samsung’s new titanium display substrate to reduce screen creasing and improve durability. However, regulatory listings suggest their batteries are rated for only 1,200 charging cycles. Prices are rumored to start at $1,899 for the Fold 8 and $2,099 for the Fold 8 Ultra in the US.
