Oura adds new cardiovascular health tracking features

Oura is introducing Cardio Effort and automatic VO₂ Max measurements to help users better understand their cardiovascular health. Cardio Effort tracks weekly workout strain and compares it with a personal baseline, categorizing activity into five levels to help users balance exercise and recovery.

Automatic VO₂ Max eliminates the need for the existing six-minute walking test, instead measuring oxygen uptake after five GPS-based workouts. The feature will be available through Oura Labs on Ring Gen 3 and newer models.
