Samsung is reportedly planning to launch its Intelligent Eyewear smart glasses in mid-December, initially in South Korea and the US. A wider release in Europe, China and Japan is expected to follow later, depending on market reception. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
The glasses run Android XR with Google Gemini and feature a camera, microphones and speakers, but no display. They support real-time translation, voice navigation and photo capture, with battery life of up to nine hours. Samsung has partnered with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker to develop the frames.
