OpenAI is introducing animated GIF generation with its new Images 2.6 update, allowing users to create short animations from text prompts or uploaded photos. Users will be able to adjust playback speed from 0.5x to 2x and edit individual frames. The update also brings faster image generation and is rolling out to ChatGPT and Codex across web, desktop and mobile.
