Accessory maker PGYTech has launched the RetroVa Vintage Imaging Kit for iPhones, a camera kit similar to those offered for vivo’s X-series phones. Now live on Kickstarter, the project has already surpassed its funding goal, raising over $55,000.
The kit includes a camera grip, phone case, and a 2.35x telephoto extender lens, enabling up to ~10x native zoom on the iPhone 17 Pro and ~11.7x on the iPhone 16 Pro. The grip adds physical controls and a microSD card slot for external video storage, while PGYTech’s companion app unlocks manual controls and filters. Pricing starts at $184 for the full kit or $72 for the grip-only version.
