Fortnite is finally returning to the Google Play Store after more than five years. Following a long legal dispute between Epic Games and Google, the game will be back on March 19 – just in time for its new season.
Fortnite was originally removed in 2020 after Epic introduced its own payment system, bypassing Google’s fees. Now, the companies have reached a deal that includes major investments from Epic and renewed promotion and support on Android.
In short: Fortnite is officially back on the Play Store, ending a long-standing standoff.
