Samsung has discontinued its first double-folding phone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, in Korea after just three months.
Despite the short run, Samsung isn’t giving up on the concept. A successor – expected around mid-2027 – is already in development and will reportedly be much thinner and lighter, closer in thickness to the Galaxy Z Fold7.
The company is also working on a sliding-screen device, possibly called the Galaxy Z Slide, which could launch in late 2027 or early 2028.
