Airbnb has unveiled a major app update that turns the platform into a more complete travel companion. The redesigned app now supports grocery delivery, airport pickups, luggage storage and car rentals directly inside Airbnb, reducing the need for multiple travel apps.
The update also adds several AI-powered features, including smart review summaries, home comparisons and improved customer support. Airbnb is further expanding beyond home rentals by adding boutique and independent hotels in select cities, while also introducing new travel features like shared itineraries and enhanced maps. More features, including car rentals and additional services, will roll out later this summer.
