Amazon has announced that more than 390 satellites have already been deployed for its Leo low-Earth-orbit internet network, a future competitor to SpaceX’s Starlink. According to Amazon executive Chris Weber, the company has completed enough launches to begin offering initial service later in 2026.
Amazon plans to offer three receiver options: Nano with speeds up to 100Mbps, Pro with up to 400Mbps and Ultra with download speeds reaching 1Gbps. Interested users can already join a waitlist to be among the first to try the service.
