SpaceX is reportedly in talks with EchoStar, the parent company of Boost Mobile, about acquiring the mobile carrier or gaining access to its network. The deal could help Elon Musk expand Starlink Mobile into a full-fledged US mobile operator by providing access to traditional cell towers and improving coverage in cities and indoors. However, the plan may require approval from AT&T and T-Mobile, which currently provide Boost Mobile’s network access.
