Apple has won a key legal victory against Masimo over the Apple Watch’s blood oxygen feature.
The International Trade Commission ruled that Apple’s redesigned version does not infringe Masimo’s patents, allowing the feature to remain available on newer Apple Watches in the US. However, the original version of the feature is still banned.
Masimo can still appeal, but the decision marks a significant win for Apple in the ongoing dispute.
