Samsung is reportedly delaying the Galaxy Ring 2, with a launch now expected in early 2027 instead of 2026.
The next-generation smart ring is said to focus on key improvements, including better battery life (up to 9–10 days), a thinner and lighter design and more accurate sensors. Samsung is also working on enhanced health features such as improved sleep tracking, advanced body temperature monitoring and deeper cardiovascular insights, while non-invasive blood glucose tracking remains under consideration.
Long term, Samsung aims to position the Galaxy Ring as part of a broader health ecosystem alongside Samsung Health and Galaxy AI, where the ring handles continuous health tracking and devices like smartwatches focus on workouts and apps.
