Nvidia is launching Project Digits, a personal AI supercomputer, in May 2025. Powered by the new GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, it delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance in a compact, desktop-sized system starting at $3,000. It supports AI models with up to 200 billion parameters and can scale to 405 billion by linking two systems.
Key specs include 128GB of unified memory, 4TB NVMe storage and advanced CUDA and Tensor cores for efficiency. Running on a Linux-based DGX OS, it supports AI frameworks like PyTorch, Python and Jupyter. Nvidia’s software library, including pre-trained models and tools, enhances development workflows.
Ideal for developers and researchers, Project Digits allows local AI model testing with deployment to cloud or data centers. This follows Nvidia’s push for accessible AI tools, like the affordable Jetson Orin Nano Super for smaller models.
